Jacob Underhill Secures 3rd Place in Prestigious XKart Scholarship Final Shootout
Rising young racer Jacob Underhill impressed at the final shootout of the @xkart.team Scholarship, earning a strong 3rd place finish among a competitive field of drivers.
Reflecting on the achievement, Jacob said:
While I was aiming higher, this experience has been invaluable — not just on track, but off it too. The day pushed me in every way: from media work, fitness challenges and team interviews to showing how important teamwork and communication are. Those are areas I really enjoy and see as a strength.
The X-Kart Scholarship final tested drivers across multiple disciplines, from on-track performance to physical and mental endurance, as well as communication and media skills.
It’s given me new skills and a clearer focus on where I can keep improving as a driver and as a person.
He also took a moment to congratulate the overall winner, a familiar rival and friend:
Massive congratulations to my friend Jude Puddefoot on taking the win, we’ve grown up racing together and it’s brilliant to see him come out on top.
Closing his remarks, Jacob expressed his gratitude to those who continue to support his racing journey:
Huge thanks to @xkart.team for such a professional and inspiring event, and to my supporters and partners for their continued belief in me. Every challenge is a step forward and this one has only made me more determined for the season ahead.
